Welcome to Sybill! This guide walks you through everything worth setting up in your first week, so Sybill can record your calls, understand your deals, and start doing your busywork for you.
1. Sign in with your work account
Go to app.sybill.ai and sign in with Google or Microsoft. Use your work email. Sybill builds your company workspace around your work domain, and features like CRM connection require a verified work account.
2. Connect your calendar
Your calendar is how Sybill knows which meetings to join. You'll be asked to connect it during sign-up. Once connected, your upcoming meetings appear in the Meeting Recording panel on the right side of the Meetings page, each with a toggle to record or skip.
3. Connect your email (recommended)
Connecting your Gmail or Outlook mailbox gives Sybill the other half of your deal context. With email connected, your CRM updates, deal next steps, and Ask Sybill answers draw on both calls and email threads. You can also send AI-drafted follow-ups directly from Sybill.

4. Connect your CRM and Slack (admins)
Admins can connect Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Dynamics 365, or Pipedrive under Settings > Integrations, so calls and emails match to the right deals automatically.
Connecting Slack brings meeting summaries into your channels and lets you ask Sybill questions with @Sybill.
5. Set your joining preferences
By default, Sybill joins your external meetings only (meetings with people outside your company). You can change this under Settings > My Meetings. For example, you can include internal meetings, or only record meetings you organize.
6. Your first recorded meeting
After a recorded call ends, Sybill processes it and produces a meeting report: an AI summary with outcome and key takeaways, next steps and AI tasks, the full transcript, and an engagement map showing how each participant reacted through the call.
7. Install the desktop and mobile apps
The Invisible Recorder desktop app records your calls without a visible bot participant. When the desktop app is running, Sybill records through it automatically instead of sending the bot. You don't need to choose.
The mobile app records in-person meetings and lets you review calls and tasks on the go.
8. Meet Ask Sybill
Ask Sybill is your AI assistant across all your calls, emails, and deals. Try these starter prompts:
"Give me a quick summary of my last external call and what I should do next."
"Which of my deals had no activity in the last 7 days?"
"Draft a follow-up email for my meeting with [company]."
