1. Getting Started with Deal Summaries

  • What are Deal Summaries, and how do they work with my CRM?

Deal Summaries are automated summaries created by Sybill after each meeting. They analyze all emails and call recordings synced to your deals or opportunities in your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics) and update the most important and relevant fields with the latest information.

  • Who is Deal Summaries for?

    Any sales rep who wants to have a quick overview of their deal and jog up their memory about key details without having to go through hours of meeting recordings or notes.

It also really helps sales managers get a bird’s-eye view of the team’s pipeline and deal stage, making it easier to predict revenue without a miss.

  • How do I connect my CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics) to Sybill for Deal Summaries?

To connect your CRM, navigate to Settings > Integrations > CRM and select the option to connect to HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics. If you're unable to connect, contact your CRM admin for access permissions.

2. Setting Up Deal Summaries

  • How do I enable Deal Summaries in Sybill?

You can enable Deal Summaries from your Sybill settings. In the CRM tab, you’ll notice a Deal Summaries button on the right side of the screen. During setup, you can select the framework that best fits your sales process. After setup, you can choose to modify or pause it here.

  • What frameworks are available for Deal Summaries?

You can choose from several popular sales qualification frameworks, including BANT fields, SPICED fields, or MEDDPICC fields. Hover over any sales field in the Deal Summaries setup screen to see the description.

  • How do I select the fields for my Deal Summaries?

After choosing a framework, you’ll be able to select the fields you want Sybill to update. For most users, this limit is set to 10 fields, but the number may vary based on your account settings. The selected fields will appear on the far right of the screen.

  • How do I map the selected fields to my CRM?

Once you’ve selected the fields, you’ll have the option to map them directly to your CRM. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the mapping process. You can change or pause these settings anytime.

3. Viewing and Managing Deal Summaries

  • Where can I view my Deal Summaries in Sybill?

Deal Summaries will be visible once you click on the Deals icon just above the Settings one. You’ll be taken to the deal page. The page may be empty at first, but as meetings and emails get synced, the activity timeline will populate and look like the image below.

  • What is the deal activity timeline?

The deal activity timeline shows all the meetings and emails associated with a specific deal along with other specific details. Meetings are displayed in blue, and emails are in green.

  • How do I ensure my meetings are linked to the right opportunities?

    You can double-check that your meetings are linked to an opportunity by visiting the meeting dashboard. If a meeting is not linked, click on the 'Link Opportunity' button and search for the relevant opportunity in your CRM.
