Email Preferences

Control how meeting recap emails are distributed within your organization. These emails notify recipients that a meeting is ready for review and include a link to the meeting dashboard along with a summary.

Options for Recap Emails

  • Send recap email to everyone: Recap emails will be sent to all meeting participants, ensuring everyone has access to the meeting summary and dashboard link.

  • Send recap email to me and my team: Limits recap emails to you and your designated team members, providing a focused group with meeting insights.

  • Send recap email to me: You will be the sole recipient of the recap emails, ideal for personal review or when managing sensitive meetings.

  • Don’t send a recap email to me: Select this option if you prefer not to receive any recap emails, relying instead on other methods to review meeting summaries.

Team Level Settings (Admins Only)

These settings, which can only be edited by administrators, allow for the management of notification preferences at the organization or team level, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies.

Slack Preferences

For teams using Slack for communication, Sybill offers direct integration to send notifications into specific Slack channels. This feature enhances the visibility of meeting recaps and makes it easy for teams to access and discuss insights from their conversations.

Current Configuration

  • Status: Indicates whether Slack notifications are currently enabled and connected to your Sybill account.

  • Channel: Shows the Slack channel (e.g., #sybill-notifications) where meeting notifications are posted. This ensures that updates are delivered to a dedicated space for easy access by the team.

Manage Slack Settings

  • Edit: Adjust which Slack channel receives notifications or modify notification settings.

  • Archive: Temporarily disable notifications to the selected channel without removing the integration.

  • Add Channel: Connect additional Slack channels to receive meeting notifications, allowing you to customize notification delivery based on team structure or meeting topics and trackers.

The #sybill-notifications channel doesn’t need to be manually created in advance. If this is done, the slack integration may not be able to fully establish a connection. If the channel already exists, please make sure that it is set as a public channel.
