Not receiving any updates in Slack
If you're experiencing issues with Slack notifications for the Sybill channel, it's important to check the channel notification settings. The notifications setting determines whether you receive notifications for new messages or activities in the channel.
Here's how you can troubleshoot issues with Slack notifications:
1. Check Slack Channel Settings:
Open your Slack workspace and open the Sybill channel.
Click on the channel name on top to access settings.
From the drop down, select your preferred notification setting.
You have the option to get notified for every update or just conversations that mention you.
Set the channel notification settings as per your preference and you should start getting all meeting summary notifications on Slack.
2. Check Sybill Notification Settings:
In the Settings section, click on Integrations > Slack preferences.
Hover to the #sybill_notifications under ‘Settings > Integrations > Slack preferences’
Click on ‘Edit’
A new window will open, where you can check and customize notification settings based on your preferences
Check the notification settings to ensure that the meetings for which you are not receiving notifications are not with any specific meeting types, participants, or trackers (keyword mentions) that you have chosen not to share on Slack.
If the issue persists, please write to help@sybill.ai or click on the blue Intercom icon on the bottom right corner of your Sybill dashboard to contact support.
Note: Keep in mind that Slack notifications depend on your personal Sybill notification preferences and the notification settings configured for each channel. Make sure to review and adjust these settings to align with your desired notification behavior.
Didn’t Receive a Specific Meeting Summary on Slack Channel
If you didn't receive the meeting summary in Slack after a meeting has ended, there are a few possible reasons and troubleshooting steps to consider:
1. Check Slack Channel Configuration:
Ensure that the Sybill integration with Slack is properly set up.
Make sure the Sybill channel is connected to the appropriate Slack workspace.
Check if you attended the meeting using the same email address you use on Sybill and Slack.
2. Review Sybill Notification Settings:
Confirm the sharing preferences on the Sybill Settings page.
Check the notification settings to ensure that the meeting was not with any specific meeting types, participants, or trackers (keyword mentions) that you have chosen not to share on Slack.
3. Verify Meeting Completion:
Confirm that the meeting has been marked as completed in Sybill and the report is ready on the Meetings dashboard.
4. Contact Support:
