Connecting Slack takes about a minute and unlocks meeting summaries in Slack, Ask Sybill from Slack, and Slack conversations as deal context.

Connect your workspace

  1. Log in to Sybill and go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Under Collaboration Apps, find Slack and click Connect. You're redirected to Slack's authorization page.

  3. Choose your workspace, review the requested permissions, and click Allow.

You may need both Sybill admin and Slack admin permissions, depending on your Slack workspace's app approval policy.

Set up your notifications

Back in Settings > Integrations > Slack:

  • Under Meeting Summary Notifications, click Add Channel to choose where summaries are posted as soon as meetings are processed, and configure which meetings each channel receives. Sybill can create its notification channel automatically; you don't need to create one in advance.

  • Under Channels, decide which Slack channels Sybill may read as deal context (see Using Slack as deal context in Sybill).

What you get

  • Meeting summaries in the channels you choose

  • Ask Sybill from Slack via the Sybill Slackbot

  • Slack conversations as deal context (Business and Enterprise plans)
