We are glad you've started your journey with Sybill. This guide walks you through what happens when you first sign up, the setup steps that matter most, and where to find help along the way.
Signing up and signing in
You can sign in to Sybill at app.sybill.ai with Google, Outlook, or Zoho, or through your company's SSO if your organization has it set up.
During signup, Sybill asks to connect your calendar and email. These connections are what let Sybill see your upcoming meetings, join and record calls, and build deal context from your conversations, so we recommend granting them right away.
Guided onboarding when you first sign in
Right after signup, Sybill walks you through a short, personalized setup:
Join or create a workspace: If your teammates already use Sybill, we detect existing workspaces on your email domain so you can join them. Otherwise, you can create a new workspace for your team.
Tell Sybill about yourself: Your department and title, plus a few details about your company. Sybill uses this to personalize AI suggestions and answers, so please fill it in.
Choose how meetings are recorded: Pick whether Sybill records all your meetings (internal and external), only your external meetings, or doesn't record automatically. You can change this anytime later in Settings > My Meetings.
Set up the essentials
A few minutes of setup unlocks most of Sybill's value:
Choose your recorder: Sybill can record with the Bot Recorder (a notetaker that joins the call) or the Invisible Recorder (a desktop app that records from your computer with no bot on the call). Set the order under Settings > My Meetings > Recorder Priority, and install the desktop app from the Invisible Recorder section in Settings.
Connect your CRM (admins): Go to Settings > Integrations to connect HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Pipedrive. Setup takes just a few minutes and lets Sybill match calls to deals, push summaries, and autofill CRM fields.
Connect Slack or Microsoft Teams (admins): Get meeting summaries where your team works, use Ask Sybill from Slack, and bring channel conversations into deal context.
Connect a dialer (admins): If your team makes calls through Zoom Phone, Outreach, RingCentral, Aircall, HubSpot, Nooks, or CloudTalk, connect it so phone calls land on Sybill's Phone calls page alongside your meetings.
Migrating from Gong? Use the Data Migration section in Settings > Integrations to import your existing call library.
Invite your team (admins): Add teammates, assign roles, and manage Recorder licenses under Settings > Team Members.
Personalize the AI: Add About Me in Settings > Profile, and ask an admin to fill in About Company in Settings > Company Profile. This context is automatically applied to your Ask Sybill chats and automated workflows.
Finding your way around
The left navigation is organized around your revenue workflow:
Ask Sybill: Chat with the AI about your meetings, deals, and pipeline.
Meetings: All your recorded meetings, plus your upcoming meetings with per-meeting record and sharing controls, call upload, and the option to add Sybill to a live meeting.
Phone calls: Calls captured through your connected dialer.
Deals and Companies: Your pipeline and accounts, with views powered by your CRM.
Tasks: Action items Sybill extracts from your calls and emails, with the option to have Sybill execute them.
Collections: Group and organize your calls.
Statistics: Team statistics for coaching and analysis.
AI Workflows: Customize summaries, automated prompts, and AI email workflows.
