Yes, they can.
However, we have observed that being upfront about the purpose of the NoteTaker, i.e., it will record the conversation breaks the ice and eases any discomfort in the call.
You can also propose to share the post-meeting report with your buyers with just the video and the transcript. That way, it becomes more acceptable to them in having the Notetaker present on the call.
