What Sybill AI credits are used for

Credits are used anytime you ask Sybill to do something for you, such as:

  • Ask Sybill: Anytime you ask questions about any meeting, deal, or across your entire pipeline. Credits are used in the Sybill app, in Slack, or via MCP.

  • Automated prompts: Recurring AI prompts that run automatically on a schedule, after meetings, or based on changes in deal stage. Credits are consumed each time a prompt runs.

  • Task execution: Anytime you ask Sybill to handle a post-meeting or deal task (does not include follow-up emails, summaries, and pre-meeting briefs).

  • Dashboard, deck, and asset creation: Anytime you ask Sybill to create reports, dashboards, and presentation decks based on your deal data.

  • API / MCP calls: Anytime you call on Ask Sybill or raw Sybill data via API or MCP.

As a rough guide:

Action

Typical credit usage

Pipeline analysis or win/loss analysis

~50–100 credits

Create a deck, dashboard, or business case

~100–200 credits

Run deal analysis through Sybill's MCP

~300–400 credits

Meeting summaries and pre-meeting briefs

0 credits

What doesn't use AI credits?

A lot of the work Sybill does automatically does not consume credits.

This includes:

  • Meeting summaries

  • Pre-meeting briefs

  • First-draft follow-up emails

  • CRM Autofill

In other words, recording another meeting doesn't automatically mean using more AI credits. Credits are primarily there for the work you ask Sybill to perform on demand or through AI workflows.

How credits work

Each user gets weekly credits from your plan. Credits are assigned per user based on your plan's rate (for example, 5,000 credits per user per week on Business). Weekly credits reset at the start of each week, and unused weekly credits do not carry over.

On-demand credits cover the overflow. Admins can purchase on-demand credits at the organization level. These form a shared pool that covers members who run out of their weekly credits, and they roll over until used. Admins control which members can draw from the on-demand pool.

Low on credits? Sybill notifies members by email and in the app when they run low. Members can request an upgrade or more credits, and admins can buy on-demand credits or enable automatic top-off directly from Settings > Billing.

Upgrading your plan? Moving to a higher plan replaces your current weekly allocation with the new plan's rate, giving your team more credits per user each week going forward.

Buying more credits

  1. Buy a one-time top-off: Your Sybill admin can purchase 5,000-credit on-demand bundles for your team in the Sybill app ($100 per bundle).

  2. Set up automatic top-off: Automatically purchase a set number of bundles whenever your team's on-demand pool runs low.

  3. Upgrade plans: If your team is consistently running out of credits, consider moving to Pro, Business, or Enterprise for a higher weekly allocation.

FAQs

What happens if I run out of credits?

  • Sybill lets you know when you're running low and when you're out. Features that require credits, such as Ask Sybill chats, task execution, automated prompts, and MCP calls, pause until your weekly credits reset or on-demand credits become available.

  • You can request an upgrade or more credits from within Sybill, and your admin can purchase on-demand bundles or enable automatic top-off.

  • Always-on features such as meeting summaries and pre-meeting briefs don't use credits and are never interrupted.

Are credits shared across my whole team?

  • Weekly plan credits are assigned per user and are not shared. On-demand credits purchased by your admin are shared across the team, and your admin decides who can use them.

Do credits carry over from week to week?

  • Weekly plan credits reset at the start of each week and do not roll over. Purchased on-demand credits do roll over until used.

Why are credits being consumed when no one is actively using Sybill?

  • Automated prompts run in the background on a set cadence, consuming credits without manual triggers. You can review which prompts are active and adjust or disable them from AI Workflows. Check the credit usage section in Settings > Billing to see a breakdown of what consumed your balance.

Does upgrading my plan carry over my old credits?

  • Upgrading replaces your weekly credit rate with the new plan's allocation going forward. It does not add your old weekly balance on top. Unused on-demand credits remain available.

Do all members of my team need the same type of license?

  • No. A Sybill workspace can include different types of users depending on how each person needs to use Sybill. Admins can manage licenses, permissions, users, integrations, and billing from Sybill, and administrator permissions can be added to paid licenses at no additional cost.

Can I try Sybill before purchasing?

  • Yes. Sybill includes a 14-day trial of the Business plan, and you don't need to enter a credit card to get started. After the trial ends, your existing recordings are preserved and the Free tier benefits are available.

Can I change my plan later?

  • Yes. Sybill admins can change plans and add or remove licenses from within Sybill. Upgrades are prorated for the remainder of your current billing cycle and take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the beginning of your next billing cycle.

Which Sybill plan should I choose?

  • Choose Free if you're getting started with Sybill and want to record conversations, generate meeting intelligence, and experiment with Ask Sybill.

  • Choose Pro if you use Sybill regularly and want more AI credits, unlimited summaries, unlimited storage, and customizable meeting intelligence.

  • Choose Business if you want Sybill to understand the full deal, not just the call, by connecting conversations with CRM, Slack, email, and broader revenue context.

  • Choose Enterprise if your team needs unlimited AI usage, unlimited CRM Autofill, SSO, migration and integration help, or dedicated support.
