Key features of the Deal Board
1. Deal Pipeline Overview Metrics
At the top of the Deal Board, you’ll get an overview of the deal pipeline metrics. You can find the ‘total number of deals’, ‘total amount’, and ‘average amount’ for:
Open Deals
Closed Won
Closed Lost
These metrics are dynamic, meaning when you filter deals based on various aspects like owner, month, etc, the values automatically update to reflect the filtered selection.
(Deal Board: Green box highlights the Deal Pipeline Overview Metrics)
2. Customizable views
The view that you see on Deal Board, is the ‘Default View’. However, you can customize it as per your needs. For example, you could want to create a view for deals coming in from a particular region. You could also choose to make certain views for your entire organization or for yourself only.
Let’s understand how to create views & switch between different dealviews:
All Deals: Default view showcasing all deals where Sybill recorded meetings.
Team Views: Create shared views for specific reasons or filters, for the entire organization (e.g., region-wise, stage-wise, etc).
My Views: Personalized views for individuals especially sales reps to focus on their deals.
(Deal Board: Green box highlights different views)
How to create a new view:
Please apply filters (e.g., by owner, company, or stage).
(Different filters available in Deal Board, to create customized views)
For e.g., in this case, we have applied a filter to see which deals are in the ‘Proposal Stage’
(Filter applied to show deals in the proposal stage)
Click on ‘Save as new view’. Name the view, and please choose if you’d like it to show in Team View or My View.
(To save a view, a name & one of 'Team/My' views needs to be chosen)
Save, and access the view anytime from the drop down under ‘All Deals’, which is a default view. The name of the view can be edited or the view can be deleted as well.
